Chip Instructions

At packet pickup, along with your BIB you will also receive your race timing

chip with a wristband. Attach it to your wrist as shown in the picture:

 

Chips will be removed by a staff member upon finish line crossing.  Please make sure your chip is returned to avoid a $40 charge.

Use of earbuds or headphones are prohibited for safety reasons.

FAQ’s

How long is the race course open?

o   There is a 3 hour cut-off time for the course.  You will be allowed to finish, however aid stations and support may not be available after 10:00AM

What will the temperature be on race day?

o   You can expect average temperatures in the low 70’s to mid 80’s.  It is recommended you wear sunscreen and remember to properly hydrate.

What is available at the aid stations?

o   Water, Gatorade and GU will be available at the aid stations

What is the minimum age for the race?

o   For the half marathon the minimum age is 13 years old on race day

o   For the 5K, the minimum age is 6 years old on race day

Are there any other restrictions regarding the race?

o   Due to safety reasons the following will not be permitted on the race course

  • Strollers
  • Rollerblades
  • Skateboards
  • Wheelchairs
  • Headphones
